📌 Key Dates to Remember:

• Interest/Application Form Deadline: All submissions must be completed by Friday, February 21, 2025. Entries received after this date will automatically be added to the waiting list.
• Enrollment Notifications: Families will be notified of enrollment status by Friday, February 28, 2025.
• Lottery Date (if required): A lottery will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025.
• Intra-District Transfer Window: Opens on February 1, 2025, and closes on March 31, 2025.

The primary objectives of our program are as follows:

• Students will attain bilingual proficiency in both English and Mandarin.
• Students will achieve high levels of academic success in both languages.
• Students will develop the skills to serve as cross-cultural ambassadors for our school, community, and society.

Our Immersion Program is designed to bring together heritage and native Mandarin-speaking students with native English-speaking students in a collaborative classroom environment. Led by highly qualified, state-certified teachers, the program utilizes the same curriculum, standards, and assessments as those implemented across the Poway Unified School District. The focus of instruction is not solely on language acquisition, but rather on mastering academic content through the use of both languages.
